Chef Profile: Kalam Abdul

Born in Sylhet in Bagladesh in 1969 Kalam Abdul or "Callum" as he is known by many of the customers moved to the West Midlands at the age of 8.

His restaurant career started at the age of 14 and by the time Callum was 21 had completed 4 years training under 3 Master Chefs and gained 7 valuable years experience running busy restaurants before opening The award winning Eastern Eye in Plymouth.

20 Years on and the philosophy is simple - "love the cooking to make the taste" and The Eastern Eye, Plymouths best loved Indian Restaurant goes from strength to strength.
